We joined Mountain Rock Treks, a Nepalese outfitter based in Kathmandu, on this fantastic 21-day adventure combined with the Everest Base Camp Trek in 2019. I cannot say enough positives about this outstanding company and its dedicated employees (Doha and Bishwa). They are the best. I booked another trip with them this year (November 2022) to climb Mera Peak (6480m) and received the same excellent service.

In addition to the stunning natural beauty, we also had the opportunity to visit traditional Sherpa villages and learn about the region's culture and way of life. Their team is also knowledgeable about the Everest Helicopter Tour. In a short period, the pilots briefed us on all the mountains, including Mount Everest, valleys, and many anecdotes about the Sherpa people and culture. It was a trip we would never forget to the Nepalese Himalayas. Without a doubt, we heartily endorse Mountain Rock Treks and their whole team. 

One of the things I appreciated about Mountain Rock Treks was the level of support and guidance they provided throughout the trek. The team of experienced Sherpas and guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we had a safe and enjoyable trek. I have been battling anxiety for a while. The medical treatments did not provide the comfort that I was searching for. And that was why I chose the 3-day Nepal Shamanism tour offered by the Mountain Rock Treks. The philosophy of the whole medicine approach to treatment intrigued me, and I registered, hoping to glimpse the peace. The project was more than I had ever expected. The worldview of the Himalayan cosmology opened a window on the world that the sight of my anxiety had not drawn. The teachers were great and made it possible for the participants to perform different exercises like mantras and mandalas, which were very powerful.
