The greatest way to experience the rich culture and way of life of the Gurungs is through the Gurung Heritage Trek. Getting culturally active in the Annapurna region was a wonderful experience. In my life, the trip was ideal. We appreciate Mountain Rock Trek for planning this trip.
The breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayan mountains, including Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Lhotse, really impressed me. Before taking off for our flight back to Kathmandu, it was great to explore Gokyo Lakes and take lots of pictures. Mountain Rock has a very competent team. They offer us excellent service.
Even though it's been almost a year since my journey to Everest Base camp, I continue to think about it constantly. From the vistas to our leaders, the obstacles to our victories, and beyond. Everything was great. I still find it hard to believe it happened. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they knew the mountains, the trail, safety, and the schedule. They spoke excellent English and had the answers to any queries we threw their way. They started or participated in numerous group activities each night because they genuinely wanted to get to know the entire group. The trip of Kathmandu and its culture was enjoyable as well, but I had wanted it wasn't so hurried. In conclusion, I heartily endorse Mountain Rock Trek.
Had a fantastic time with Mountain Rock Trek on the Tilicho Lake Trek with Mesokanto Pass, from beginning to end. The personnel is really attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure that you have the finest experience. Would definitely use again if we returned for another journey!
The hike was really pleasurable thanks to the excellent organization, great vistas, and helpful guide. The organizer, Dipak, was also highly professional at all times. Really liked the panoramic views of the Himalayas, the lovely Ghandruk village, and their way of life. The locals were incredibly warm and welcoming.
One-hour scenic flight over the mountains may be the solution if helicopter flight costs are high. We were fortunate to wake up to a clear morning because, as just the day before, it was very cloudy. Unfortunately, we had seats near the front, so there was an engine and prop in the way of free photos, but they are a necessary part of the plane. Seats near the rear of the aircraft would offer better views.
All the passengers could go up to the flight deck with a magnificent view and clarity. The co-pilot identifies the many mountains of interest and will, upon request, shoot pictures or movies for you. Consequently, you get a good perspective from the front, even if the view from your seat could be better. Although it could be worth asking, I wonder if you can request a seat when you check in.
There was severe rain the night before our vacation, but it stopped in time for us to depart. There were 16 passengers, and each of us had a window seat. Even though it was primarily gloomy, we could still clearly see the Himalayas and Mount Everest. Everyone on board was invited to the cockpit to observe and photograph the mountains. The flight itself lasted for roughly an hour. Likewise, checking in, boarding, etc., was simple and fast. I recommend this trip to you if you have never got a chance to Hike to the Everest Base Camp. It was stunning and emotional to see Everest from such a close view.
The Gokyo Lake Helicopter Tour with Mountain Rock Treks was an absolute highlight of my trip to Nepal. The views of Mount Everest and the surrounding area were breathtaking, and the opportunity to land and explore the Gokyo Lakes was genuinely magical. It's hard to describe just how beautiful and awe-inspiring this tour was.
The team at Mountain Rock Treks was professional and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. They were always there to answer any questions and ensured that every aspect of the tour was taken care of. I appreciated their attention to detail and commitment to making the experience as enjoyable as possible.
