I recently had the privilege of completing the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek with Mountain Rock Treks, and I can genuinely say it was one of the most meaningful travel experiences of my life.

Coming from Germany, I’ve always been fascinated by the Himalayas, but I wanted something different from the usual tourist routes. The Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek turned out to be the perfect choice—less crowded, rich in Tibetan Buddhist culture, and surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery I’ve ever seen.

The organization by Mountain Rock Treks was flawless. From airport pickup in Kathmandu to handling permits and accommodation, everything was taken care of with professionalism and care. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and always attentive. He made the history and traditions of the region come alive with stories, and ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trek.

The trail itself was stunning—from walking through dense pine forests and crossing suspension bridges to visiting remote monasteries like Mu Gompa near the Tibetan border. The cultural immersion in the Tsum Valley was a highlight—meeting local families, hearing monks chant in ancient monasteries, and witnessing a way of life untouched by modern tourism.

Accommodations were as expected in such remote regions, but always clean and welcoming. The food was hearty and nourishing—Dal Bhat never disappoints after a long trekking day!

If you’re seeking a truly authentic Himalayan trek, I highly recommend the Manaslu Tsum Valley route. And I wholeheartedly recommend Mountain Rock Treks as your trekking partner. Their passion, experience, and personal touch made all the difference.

The guide was fantastic; he had excellent English and was educated about the trek. He assisted me when I became ill and even occasionally provided snacks for us, which was hilarious. Also fantastic, and among the friendliest people I've ever met, were the porters. It was incredibly interesting to learn about the Helambu Region's diverse population. Melamchi Gaun, Sarmathang, Tarkegyang, and Gul Bhanjyang are only a few of the Helambu Region's culturally significant towns.

The EBC trek via Jiri is a great way to get to know the Sherpa people and learn about their rich culture and traditions. The friendly and welcoming nature of the Sherpa people is one of the highlights of the trek, and many trekkers come away with a deep appreciation for their way of life. EBC trek via Jiri is a must-do for any trekker looking to experience the beauty and culture of the Nepal Himalayas. The stunning views, rich culture, and challenging terrain make it an unforgettable experience. All thanks to Mountain Rock Treks and the team. 

I adore the stunning Gosaikunda Lake. It was such an incredible walk, full of sights to remember. The natural beauty that has been preserved, as well as the monasteries and places where Lord Shiva devotees travel, astounded me. We appreciate  Mountain Rock Treks' efforts in planning such a great trip within our budget. It felt like I was on top of the world when I looked out from Lauribinak and Gosaikunda View  Point. 

 

 With the Mountain Rock Trek, our vacation to Everest Base Camp exceeded all expectations. I was impressed by the superb pre-trip counseling, guides and porters, lodgings of the highest caliber, and route planning.  I didn't know what to anticipate as this was my first altitude hike, but everything went perfectly. Both this walk and the Mountain Rock Trek come highly recommended. It was wonderful to meet Dipak before and during our trip in Kathmandu. The Mountain Rock was very professional, gave fantastic advice, and was always accessible to answer questions. I would always utilize this business! 

 

The trek to Everest Base Camp is amazing and spectacular. Our tour manager, guide, and porters were all selfless, admirable, and even entertaining employees of Mountain Rock  Trek. Among the highlights for me were Namche village, Tengboche monastery, Sherpa cultural villages, Sagarmatha National Park, Everest base camp, and the breathtaking sunrise views from Kalapathar viewpoints. I want to thank you once more for sharing your amazing life experiences with us. The experience was fantastic in every way. 

 

I visited the Tamang Heritage Trek for the first time with some buddies. The tour was made extremely interesting and unforgettable by Mr. Gopal, our guide. The group guide and

porter helped carry our stuff and were quite amusing. Mr. Dipak, who was highly knowledgeable, planned our tour. Their familiarity with the area was very helpful. They were prompt in setting up the porters to bring us supplies and water while we were struggling on the final mile to Gosekunda Lake. We said goodbye like excellent friends. Try this trek if you enjoy having fun and being daring.

I nearly forgot that I was a picky eater since I was so eager to go on my Everest Base Camp Trek. However, Mountain Rock Trek organized delicious cuisine for my vacation and provided me with an excellent experience all the way through. They took excellent care of me and arranged for a comfortable room for me to stay. I appreciate your assistance during the trip.
