The trek from Lukla was a well-designed and enjoyable experience as we acclimatized to the altitude. My Guide Aangdawa's relationship with the Tea House owners was evident in how we were treated like family. At base camp, my tent was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen tent provided delicious meals and plenty of laughter. The bonus of toilet and shower tents made the experience even more luxurious. The climb was thrilling, and the Sherpa crew's support and friendliness made it even more enjoyable. It was a unique experience not to have to set up camp or carry my gear, and the availability of hot and cold water was a welcome surprise. On summit day, the Sherpas' expertise and support were invaluable, and without them, I doubt I would have made it to the top.
I planned the Everest Base Helicopter Tour as a surprise for my girlfriend, to propose to her amidst the stunning beauty of the mountains. The Mountain Rock Treks team made all the preparations, ensuring a seamless experience. Once we reached the base camp, everything was arranged perfectly. The breathtaking scenery and the thrill of being at such an iconic location made the moment even more magical. Our journey was unforgettable thanks to Mountain Rock Treks, and the proposal was a resounding success. I highly recommend it!
I'm Anita Ortega, and I recently completed an incredible 19-day trek to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake with my closest friends. The journey was spectacular, with perfect weather and an exceptional crew. I want to extend my gratitude to Deepak for flawlessly organizing our tour. Deepak and the team were incredibly responsive, addressing all our inquiries promptly. They ensured all our tours and transportation ran on schedule, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have been happier. A special shout-out to our guide, Dawa, whose expertise and assistance were invaluable throughout the trip. With experiences like this, I do not doubt that my next adventure to Annapurna will be with Mountain Rock Treks, the same fantastic team.
The Everest base camp helicopter tour was an ethereal escapade that left me spellbound by the majestic Himalayan mountains. As the chopper soared, the landscape beneath metamorphosed into a breathtaking tapestry of crests and troughs. The thrill was electrifying, humbling me in the face of the immense scale and splendour of the mountains. However, it wasn't just the awe-inspiring panoramas that etched this trip into my memory; the pilot's genial disposition and expertise added to the allure. I'd unequivocally recommend Mountain Rock's Everest base camp helicopter tour to anyone seeking an unforgettably unique experience that fosters a deeper appreciation for the earth's natural beauty.
From the very first moment we stepped on this place, we were treated with nothing but professionalism. Local staff were warm and welcoming, enabling us to adjust to the roughness of the mountains. The hike to the base camp was strategically spaced enough to help us prepare for the elevation. Our leader Madan was on a whole different level, tireless and professional when he was needed the most, especially at such a height, during the summiting stage.
This is a great free walking tour for first-time visitors to Kathmandu. The guide connected to us personally to ensure that the history and culture of the city became real for the participants.
Mountain Rock Treks provided a friendly and professional service and I was immediately welcomed from the time we met.
This is a great way to orient yourself before you strike out on your own and to visit some of those 'off the beaten track' areas before you go back and explore for yourself.
My holiday was a blast, and the Everest Base Camp trek was an absolute delight. I highly recommend anyone visiting Nepal to give it a go. The journey was truly awe-inspiring, as we meandered through lush Rhododendron forests and misty clouds en route to the majestic destination. As there are hardly any ATMs or banks in the Everest region, I humbly suggest exchanging your currency in Kathmandu. And who could forget the deliciously fresh yak milk tea? The rainforest was teeming with rare plants and animals, from Namche Bazaar all the way to Tengboche. The Khumbu Region's stunning stone-paved trail and waterfalls only added to the sense of adventure.
We were very lucky to book the helicopter flight with them from Lukla back to Kathmandu after our trek to Everest Base Camp. Besides super convenience, it was breathtaking; it felt almost unreal, flying over these towering peaks and gorgeous valleys below. Mountain Rock Treks booking is straightforward, and the staff is friendly and professional. The helicopter ride was smooth, and we were quite happy to take this opportunity to see this magnificent scenery once more. Recommended highly for anyone finishing or starting their Everest trek: never-to-forget ending to our journey.
