It's said that hiking in Nepal is an experience you won't forget soon, and they are right. I was amazed by the mountains and the people from the very first day. The incredible group of friends I made and the guides we had were the natural highlights. My vacation wouldn't have been successful without my guide and porter because there wouldn't have been as much joy and laughter without them. I can't speak highly enough of them and the Mountain Rock treks.

I witnessed the sun rising over the Himalayas, ambled through Lukla and Namche Bazaar streets, and fully immersed myself in Nepalese culture. Moreover, he took plenty of fantastic photos of the trip. Reaching Everest Base Camp was a dream come true, and the helicopter ride back offered a thrilling perspective of the Himalayas. This trek is a must for any adventurer looking to push their limits and immerse themselves in the grandeur of nature.

We recently returned from completing the trek to Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek (October 2022), and I cannot give Mountain Rock Treks enough credit and praise for the success of our trip! We had fantastic accommodation almost every night in the mountains and based on conversations with others, it was usually the best available - which is critical after a day of trekking for both recovery and morale. Dona (our guide) was extremely knowledgeable about the valley and high-altitude trekking throughout our fifteen days; we were fortunate to get to know a wonderful man who was humourous (very) as appropriate but always aware of what was best for us and why. The 10 days Everest Base Camp trek was Fantastic!!! I'm at a loss for words when it comes to expressing the beauty of the landscape, with its mountains, valleys, clouds, and suspension bridges. Pictures don't do it credit, either, so one must go and see it for themselves. Ram's guide did a great job; he never pressured us to move quickly and was always encouraging, no matter how slowly I moved or how frequently I had to stop to recover my breath. He volunteered to carry my backpack numerous times, but I only agreed to it once. Without his continuous support, I would have likely turned around halfway.
