The experience for Tours & Trips organized by Mountain Rock Treks provided a wonderful experience in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The guide, Pradeep, provided a good overview of Newar architecture, history, and cultural rituals. The pacing was good, breaks were planned at such a distance apart that we could pause and taste some juju Dhau. 

The transportation out of Kathmandu was seamless, and we saw all the temples without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend the tour, it produced a good combination of sight seeing, understanding, and relaxing - it was good value.

After checking out the itinerary, I knew we were in for an incredible trip. I learned about Mountain Rock Treks through a travel blog. They arranged the permits, which made traveling in Tibet very easy.

Our local Lhasa guide was Tenzin, and he was an expert on both the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. The whole trip was flexible and culturally immersive, with smooth transitions along all legs.

Undoubtedly, it was one of the most amazing, fun experiences we've ever had in a half-day. It is incomprehensible. It has to be realized. The best tour we have ever taken.Before taking off, you receive a safety training when you arrive at the airport in Kathmandu. After that, you take a ride in a helicopter while enjoying the most spectacular views of the Himalayas. Fly over the Himalayas, stop in Kalapatar for a quick picture shoot, and then have breakfast at the Everest View Hotel. Every cent is well spent.

My family and I visited Chitwan National Park for three days with Mountain Rock, which was much more than we expected. Every element was carefully organized, from the perfect logistics to the unforgettable atmosphere.  Being face to face with these magnificent tigers, elephants, and rhinos was such an unreal experience. The guide's knowledge made jungle walks more educational, allowing us to see the park's flora and fauna more closely. The accommodation was proper, and the meals provided were delicious. This tour not only gave us unforgettable close encounters with the animals but also ensured a lasting memory of Nepal's beautiful nature.

We went on an EBC trek with Mountain Rock Treks and their team, and it was a fantastic experience. Dipak is an extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, and helpful tour guide. Two of us became ill during the trek, and he responded quickly and took care of us in any way he could. Along the trail and at the teahouses, we enjoyed our conversation and his sense of humor. He even got us a special breakfast and pickle salad at Namche Bazaar and always accommodated our odd dietary needs. The EBC trek is incredible. Thank you for a fantastic trip. I'm looking forward to the future.

I finished the EBC Trek with Mountain Rock Treks, along with the helicopter tour. Before  I left Kathmandu, Dipak, who is incredibly organized, made sure everything was in order.  Gopal, my tour guide, was knowledgeable and made the entire trip enjoyable. I'd suggest this organization to any lone hikers looking for a fantastic hike where they can simply take in the breathtaking surroundings and not worry about anything else! 

 

As a Hindu devotee, visiting Nepal's holy sites, especially Muktinath, has always been a burning desire. However, on my recent trip, I only had 5 days left. Disappointed, I almost gave up hope. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Mountain Rock Treks' Kathmandu Tour with Muktinath Heli. It was a lifesaver. Their team understood my devotion and time constraints perfectly. They designed a fantastic itinerary incorporating Kathmandu's important pilgrimage sites and the much-desired Muktinath visit. Within 2 hours, I stood amidst the sacred grounds of Muktinath, a feat that would have taken days by land. 

Bigu Gompa is a lovely place to stop on your EBC journey. It is definitely worth a little visit in the Khumbu valley. Bigu Gompa, also known as the Nunnery School, is one of Nepal's oldest Buddhist monasteries. It was a brief yet unforgettable journey.
