I was so excited to take this trek but so intimidated, too. After all, I planned to go on a 19-day. Annapurna Circuit Trek, a tough mountain range in the Himalayas. That is why I decided to go with Mountain Rock Treks for my journey. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. I should start by talking about the planning and organizing of the trip. The team at Mountain Rock Treks was great with providing detailed information and answering any questions I had. They organized the permits, flights, and transport options and ensured I knew what to bring and any safety concerns related to the trek. The trekking experience with Mountain Rock Treks was top-notch. I was assigned a guide and porter who went above and beyond to ensure I had a great trip. They were incredible mountain guides and shared their wealth of knowledge throughout the trek. They also cared for me and ensured I had plenty of rest, water, and food. Aside from the trek itself, Mountain Rock Treks offered an incredible cultural experience. During the Trekking in Annapurna Circuit journey, through our conversations, I had the chance to meet and interact with the locals from the villages in the region and get to know the people who live in the mountains. At the end of the trek, I felt a real connection with the mountains, thanks to Mountain Rock Treks. 

 

Ascending the challenging trail to Everest Base Camp exceeded my expectations and left me with immense satisfaction. Deepak, the mastermind behind my luxurious trek, ensured top-notch communication, while my trekking guide, Aaangdawa Sherpa, provided unwavering support throughout the journey. From notifying me of daily trekking distance and elevation to ensuring my safety, Aaangdawa  Sherpa truly went above and beyond.

I opted for both trekking to Everest Base Camp and taking a helicopter tour, unable to decide between the two. The trek was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with its grueling demands ultimately culminating in breathtaking views of Mount Everest from Kalapatar. Meanwhile, the helicopter ride was nothing short of extraordinary - flying close to the mountains felt like a dream come true. 

 

I contacted Mountain Rock treks through WhatsApp and was pleased with their responsiveness and efficiency during every step of the planning process. On the tour day, our pick-up got a bit late, but still sufficient for us to make it to the airport. We were warmly welcomed by the pilot named George, who was nothing short of professional. We were graced with the perfect weather and had a majestic view from Kallapattar. What's more, we were privileged to extend our stay at the Everest View Hotel due to George's rescue mission. I was in awe and excited simultaneously, as I had never been in a helicopter before. With the most stunning views of the Himalayas and the best service provided, the experience was life-changing.

I recently took part in a trek to Everest Base Camp with An Unforgettable Journey. The trip was well-planned and organized, with everything provided for us along the way. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We had plenty of time for sightseeing and exploring the local culture as we travelled. The guide was knowledgeable and always available to answer our questions. He was also very helpful in solving any problems we encountered along the way. The return journey from the Base Camp to Kathmandu was made in a small helicopter. This was a truly fantastic experience with spectacular views of the mountains in the Himalayas.

Professional and amiable, they ensured that the expedition was stress-free, even on our chaotic airport trips! Instead of tackling these daunting endeavours alone, I was thankful to have the expertise of Mountain Rock Treks and their team nearby in Nepal. This trek became a blissful experience, and I would venture with them again.

Venturing into the unknown and trekking up to the Everest Base Camp with Mountain Rock Treks, I have been liberated with an entirely new outlook on life. Every step of the way, the awe-inspiring sights of the Himalayas have left me speechless. From Lukla to EBC, this unbelievable journey will forever imprint on my memories. Alongside the captivating beauty, the genuine camaraderie of Nima Tamang, and our tour guide, Tej Prasad's expertise truly made it an experience like no other. Tej would let us in on the intimate details of the mountain peaks, their heights, and the stories behind the first successful summit attempts. His knowledge and proficiency in English made the entire journey considerably more enjoyable. Even after our two-week trek ended, despite being stuck in Nepal due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we were fortunate enough to rely on Nirmal's assistance and hospitality. This once-in-a-lifetime Himalayan trek has transformed me in more ways than one, and I am deeply grateful for it.

 

Undertaking the Everest Base Camp journey with my son was an incredible adventure that left an indelible mark on us. The ethereal scenery, the fascinating culture of the people, and the unique fauna we encountered transported us to a different world. Although we were blessed with sunshine and clear blue skies every day, as we ascended higher, the biting cold reminded us of the harsh reality of the altitude.
