The journey to Dolpo was spectacular, and the nearby Phoksundo lake and Shey monastery were both stunning. Our tour guide was extremely endearing and cheerful. He helped us better comprehend Nepalese traditions because he was so knowledgeable about the area and its people. We quickly grew close throughout the trekking season and would love to visit him again to go on another journey in Nepal. We will never forget our wonderful off-the-beaten-path walk and our next adventure.

My Short Everest Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was an experience of a lifetime. I can't believe that the trip was only 10 days long, but we were never bored. Postcard-perfect scenery and well-thought-out rest days. The company perfectly organized everything - pre-trip information as well as day to day in trek plans. Our guide, Mingma Sherpa, took great care of us and shared so much about Sherpa culture/history and interesting sights along the trail. The trekking itself is not too challenging and the rest of the days are well-balanced for acclimatization. I couldn't believe I finally got to EBC when we arrived! And the best part - all of us in our international group made it there too.
With Mountain Rock Treks, we went on a nine-day journey across Ghorepani Poonhill. It was a memory that will never fade. We are incredibly appreciative of their generosity and all the arrangements they made for us. I will absolutely go back, and I strongly advise everyone to do the same!
From Pokhara, I took an ABC helicopter tour. If you are already staying in the Pokhara area for a few days, the base camp is unquestionably a must-see. The helicopter ride was enjoyable and full of gorgeous views, including those of the Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna mountain ranges. While I was staying in Pokhara, I didn't feel the green hills that make Pokhara look the way it does. The helicopter tour to Annapurna base camp is undoubtedly a fantastic way to get a close-up view of the majestic mountain. I heartily recommend the Mountain Rock Treks trip.
We took a fantastic heli tour to Kori last month. The aerial view of Kapuche Lake and the mountains were both breathtaking. We had a great time on our trip to Kori. Mountain Rock team, thank you.
I spent three weeks in Nepal trekking to Makalu Base Camp and living in Kathmandu with a group of four people from Poland. In all honesty, it was the trip of my life and I had a terrific time. Without the wonderful, generous individuals from Mountain Rock Treks, this would not be possible. I want to thank you all once more for the wonderful time we had together.
One of the trek's highlights was visiting the Gokyo Lakes, a series of turquoise-blue glacial lakes located at the base of Cho Oyu, the sixth-highest mountain in the world. The sight of the lakes against the majestic Himalayan peaks was genuinely breathtaking.
The accommodation along the way was also top-notch, with comfortable teahouses and lodges providing warm and cozy places to rest after a long day of hiking. The food was delicious, with various local dishes to choose from.
I highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks for anyone looking to undertake the Gokyo Valley Trek. The company is professional, reliable, and provides excellent service. I can't wait to go on another trek with them."
We recommend Mountain Rock Treks as a tour operator if you're considering the Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak. Not only do they offer a well-organized and comprehensive trekking experience, but their team, mainly guide Pemba, goes above and beyond to ensure that every detail is taken care of and that the trek is enjoyable for all participants.
The Everest Base Camp Trek is a challenging but rewarding journey through Nepal's stunning Himalayan mountain range. The trek takes you to the base camp of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, as well as to Island Peak, a famous peak for climbing.
