Description
The trek along the lowlands of Karnali, combined with some of the most beautiful canyons found in Nepal, makes Karnalirafting/kayaking a memorable river trip available in this country and is a favorite river trip of guides and rafters as well. The route passes through remote villages and a wide variety of fauna and flora, including dense forests.
The rapids encountered in Karnali River are demanding and huge after monsoons, though relatively straightforward. The course of the river passes through narrow canyons where flow speed increases with the frequencies of the rapids. Low water rafting demands more technicality of the rafter and is equally exciting.
Karnali River Rafting is an ideal trip for a unique experience of Nepal: stunning scenery and excellent river action along the long rivers. The location of taking out points for those wishing to visit Bardia National Park is an added advantage. Karnali River is also considered one of the best in Nepal for fishing.
