There are many types of western and Asian food dishes or a mixture of both in Nepal's major trekking routes and tourist destinations. During your stay in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, You could choose food from the menu, such as Nepali food, Indian food, and western food, as you wish. You can expect three during a trek to Annapurna, Everest Trek, Langtang Trek, Upper Mustang trekking, Gosikunda lake trek, and Gokyo lake trek full meals a day, where food is freshly prepared daily. During our tea-house tour, we offer a selection of tea-houses where you can get fresh food. Most teahouses cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian fare food. But most tea-houses offer pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables, and even some desserts like apple pies, pancakes, and some interesting attempts at custard. We are also familiar with providing interesting vegetarian meals and can adjust to meet your requirements, for example cooking Asian dishes less spicy for children. In many larger villages on trekking, you may find some meals with meat on the menu. You can always get hot chocolate, tea, lemon drinks, soft drinks, and treats like chocolate and crisps.
In a teahouse trek, you can expect to get primarily local foods and can choose them from the menus. You can also get some Tibetan, Chinese, Nepalese, Indian and Italian dishes. in the tea houses. The food is good and well enjoyed by the trekkers. In higher altitudes near the base camps of the mountains, you get less variety of the food item than in the lower altitudes. We provide three meals every day. We try to offer you fresh vegetables from the village, fresh fruits, etc. You can choose the food you like, but it is wiser not to order different dishes for each person as cooking so many words take a long time. Some lodges do not have many ovens, and maybe they have only one cook. Making a combined order saves time, especially during lunch. You can buy bottled water in the mountains, but we suggest bringing water purifiers like iodine and avoiding bottled water. Water bottles are a significant source of pollution in the Himalayas.
If you are on a camping trek, we provide multi-course dishes from starters to desserts. We have excellent cooks to prepare hot and delicious foods. A complete set of facilities, including kitchen and dining tents, tables, and chairs, are provided. In any case, you will have a similar fare to teahouses, except that along the way, we may buy some fresh local produce such as fish, chicken, or cheese to supplement the supplies. And the cost of all the food we prepare is included in the price of the camping treks – you can eat food as much as you like. Whichever option you choose, you can ensure that the food is fresh, nutritious, and tasty. We give high priority to the health of our guests; we provide hygienic food during our camping trek. Our cooks are well trained and experienced at preparing both western and eastern dishes.
